Ever since I was a kid, I dreamt of publishing a book.
And I worked at it. I wrote constantly, read, got an MFA, wrote some more. But for my first novel, something still wasn’t gelling.
Even outside the million rejections I got, I knew something was off.
Eventually I realized:
Publishing a book takes more than just writing. A LOT more.

Recently I heard this phrase: “If you’ve never seen a saw, then a log looks like a miracle.”
If you don’t have the right tools—or if you don’t even know they exist—then yes, the end result may look like a miracle. That’s how publishing a book felt to me.
But once I found the tools, and the people who knew how to use them… suddenly, it was within reach.
*
When it comes to publishing books, those “saws” —the tools—are things like:
✅ Discerning the central themes and drafting a compelling outline
✅ Constructing scenes that makes readers keep reading
✅ Building a team of professionals to help edit, design, launch, and market the book
*
If publishing a book feels impossible, it might not be a talent problem.
It might be a tools problem.
That’s exactly what I help with.
I help authors find and use the tools they need to get that book out of their imagination and into people’s hands.
